[Electrans-l] City Council considers proposed electric transmission line project

[Southern Columbia Electric Transmission Line project]

The Columbia City Council will hold a *work session on Thursday, June 13 at
2:00 pm* in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 701 E. Broadway for the
proposed electric transmission line project. This meeting will give the
City Council a chance to review the options with Columbia Water & Light’s
staff. There will not be an opportunity for the public to comment at this
meeting.

The June 13 work session will be broadcast live on the City Channel.
(Mediacom channel 80, Charter Communications channel 992 and CenturyLink
channel 96)

The meeting will rebroadcast at these times:

   - Friday, June 13 through Sunday June 16: 6:00 am, 10:00 am, 6:00 pm,
   10:00 pm
   - Monday, June 17 through Thursday, June 20: 2:00 am, 2:00 pm
   - Friday, June 21 through Sunday, June 23: 6:00 am, 10:00 am, 6:00 pm,
   10:00 pm

*PUBLIC COMMENT OPPORTUNITY*: A public hearing for the proposed electric
transmission line project is *scheduled for the July 15.* The City Council
could also hold public hearings on August 5 and August 19, if they feel
they are needed. Council meetings start at 7:00 pm in the City Council
Chambers in City Hall, 701 E. Broadway.
