[Southern Columbia Electric Transmission Line project]

The Columbia City Council will receive a report with the results of the
proposed electric transmission line project survey at their meeting on
Monday, May 20. The survey was available from November through January to
gain perspective on the selection criteria and the most favorable route.

The Columbia City Council will consider the public’s feedback and then hold
a *work session *on *Thursday, June 13 at 2:00 pm* in the Council Chambers,
City Hall, 701 E. Broadway. This meeting will give the City Council a
chance to review the options with Columbia Water & Light’s staff.



A *public hearing* for the proposed electric transmission line project is
scheduled for the* July 15* Columbia City Council meeting. The City Council
could also hold public hearings on August 5 and August 19, if they feel
they are needed.
