If you've been to L.A. Nickell lately and seen a large amount of dirt behind the driving range tee and wondered what is going on. Wonder no more. The maintenance staff is in the process of building a new grass tee for use sometime during the 2012 golf season. This addition will give golfers a great opportunity to practice off of natural turf giving them a more course like experience. The tee will closed during wet conditions and dormant season. However, the use of the mats will be available during those times.
