Columbia Transit's 'Your Bike Is Your Ticket'
(COLUMBIA, MO) - You don't need a ticket to ride*all you need is your bike. Columbia Transit is proud to be a participant in the 2004 Mayor's Challenge: Bike, Walk & Wheel Week. During the week of May 9-16, just park your bike on any Columbia Transit bus and ride for free.
We know Columbia MO is on the Go. We want to help you get there and help save the environment at the same time. For your convenience, all Columbia Transit buses are equipped with bike racks capable of holding two bikes at once.
The bike racks accommodate single-seat, two wheeled bikes with standard size wheels. Collapsible bikes that fold may be brought on the bus. Tandem bikes and bikes with oversized wheels or training wheels are not allowed.
Save the date! Columbia Transit will offer new and improved routes beginning June 7. Look forward to a Downtown Orbiter that cycles through The District and surrounding areas every 15 minutes. And, if you're going to the movies, our new Purple Route will now take you to both Columbia Theaters.
For more information about Columbia Transit's new routes and the "Your Bike is Your Ticket" campaign, log onto www.GoColumbiaMo.com (GoBus).
