Chip and seal maintenance program

	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The Public Works Department announced that the
Street Division will start its annual seal coat maintenance program
Monday, July 19, through Friday, July 23, from 7 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.,
weather permitting, on the following streets: Jackson Street - Texas
Street to Creasy Springs Road; Sondra - Garth to Parkade & Jackson to
Kathy; Garden Drive - Primrose to south end; Lilac Drive - Garden to
Rose; Lilly Court - Iris to west end; Grayson - Barberry to Dahlia;
Primrose - Route E to Sunflower; Fifth Street - Stewart to Rollins;
Walnut  - College to Short; St. Joseph -  Park to Ash; Lyon Street -
Eighth to Fifth; Fourth Street - Stewart to Turner; Twin Oaks -  Rice to
north end; Pleasant Way - Rice to north end; and Dogwood - Route B to
west end.
	
Care should be exercised in the work area and, when possible, alternate
routes should be used.  Anyone having questions related to the work
planned should call the Street Division at 874-6289.
