Aulgur attends Missouri Municipal and Associate Circuit Judges
Association Conference

	(COLUMBIA, MO) - Judge Robert D. Aulgur recently attended the
2004 Annual Conference of the Missouri Municipal and Associate Circuit
Judges Association held at the Lake of the Ozarks. Judge Aulgur is the
municipal judge for the city of Columbia. As part of the state
judiciary, Judge Aulgur is required to stay abreast of developments in
the law and judicial matters, and attendance at the annual conference
fulfills a significant part of that requirement.
	The Missouri Municipal and Associate Circuit Judges Association
is composed of municipal judges (lawyer and non-lawyer) and associate
circuit judges presiding over municipal and associate circuit courts in
the state of Missouri. There are over 300 active members in the
Association, whose purpose is to assist and train its members to better
perform their duties as judges, and to maintain the highest possible
judicial standards in the courts. More information about the Association

	Among those speaking at this year's annual conference were
Justice Ray Price and Justice Duane Benton of the Missouri Supreme
Court; Judge William Dressell, president of the National Judicial
College in Reno, Nev.; and Morley Swingle, Esq., Cape Girardeau County
prosecuting attorney. Also, an appeals case from the Southern District
Court of Appeals was tried in front of the members.
