Street work on East Broadway
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The city of Columbia Public Works Department
announced today that beginning Thursday, May 27, at 7 a.m., Darren Woods
Excavating, the contractor working for Broadway Shops L.L.C., will begin
street widening work for a driveway to serve the Broadway Shops. This
work will result in the addition of a lane on the north side of Broadway
from Brickton Road to Trimble Road. 
	Broadway is expected to remain fully open through the
construction. The work should be completed, weather permitting, by
Thursday, July 8, at 7 p.m. Motorists and pedestrians are urged to
exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and to use an
alternate route whenever possible.
