America Recycles 2004 'It All Comes Back To You'              
									
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - Columbia Public Works announces Nov. 15 as
"America Recycles Day" and encourages all Columbia residents to
recycle and buy recycled products. 
	This year's campaign theme, "It all comes back to you,"
represents the benefits of recycling. This slogan may be interpreted
with several meanings. One is that recycled products and materials
return to consumers as new products. Secondly, recycling is returned to
consumers as improved environment, preserved resources and economic
well-being of our community. Recycling requires commitment from each of
us to recycle and buy recycled products, not only on "America Recycles
Day," but each day throughout the year.
	In conjunction with "America Recycles Day," the Columbia
Public Works Volunteer Program will provide "Pete's Packs"
(educational tool kits for plastic recycling), America Recycles posters,
and bookmarks to each Columbia school. To learn more about the America
Recycles 2004 campaign or to register online for the free car giveaway,
