Nov. 4 Food Handlers Course
cancelled							

(COLUMBIA, MO) - The food handlers course scheduled for Nov. 4 has been
cancelled. The course is offered by the Columbia/Boone County Health
Department. Persons working in food services, must, within 30 days,
obtain a valid Food Handlers Certificate. The certificate must be
renewed every three years. 

The Health Department teaches a food handlers course three times a
month. The next available courses will be offered Nov. 10 and Nov. 17,
starting at 6:30 p.m. The course lasts about one hour and the
certificate cost is $5. Registration is conducted at the door at least
15 minutes prior to the class. The Health Department apologizes for any
inconveniences caused by this cancellation. Please call (573) 874-7497
