Heritage Festival REVISED Entertainment Schedule

COLUMBIA, MO (September 10, 2004) -- The 27th Annual Heritage Festival
will be held Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 18-19, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
(ghost stories on Saturday evening from 8 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.) at Historic
Nifong Park located at Hwy 63 S. & AC exit west. Admission is free.

Visitors will be taken back to the traditions of the past. Listen,
learn, and see history as it comes alive. See artisans and tradesmen
dressed in 19th century attire demonstrating their trades and selling
their wares. Visit an 1859 town with shopkeepers, townspeople, and a
medicine show. See cowboys with their chuck wagons; American Indian
dancing, drumming and tepees; and a Lewis and Clark camp. A large
contemporary craft area will also be featured. Great food and a
beautiful park setting will make the Heritage Festival a family
tradition.

New for 2004! Special Performers:
Chris Camp "World Champion Whip Cracker & Entertainer"
For over 20 years, Chris Camp has performed all over the U.S. From
"fast draw" multiple cracking to precision tricks, Chris and his
Bullwhips amaze audiences of all ages. As the bullwhip moves at speeds
in excess of 900 miles per hour, you will see Chris cut targets out of
this own mouth. Chris holds the world record for whip cracks in one
minute. He inherited the honor with 212 cracks.

Pop Wagner "The Renaissance Cowboy"
He's an entertainer, singing cowboy & poet, fiddler, picker, lasso
twirler and more. He has released ten audio recordings, two videos and
numerous honors. He is a great historian of American culture.

Discovery Trio - "Lewis & Clark: A Musical Voyage of Discovery"
This trio is made up of three nationally-known (and locally loved!)
