Temporary lane diversion on East Broadway (Route WW)
									
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The Public Works Department announced that a
temporary bypass will be in effect beginning Monday, April 25.
Additional delays with traffic flow on East Broadway between Old 63 and
Brickton Road will be experienced. 
	Beginning Monday, April 25, Emery Sapp and Sons Inc. of
Columbia, Mo., will begin the installation of a reinforced concrete
storm sewer pipe across East Broadway west of the Brickton Road
intersection. A temporary two-lane bypass will be utilized to allow for
two-way traffic through the construction work area. Normal traffic flow
is expected to be resumed by Wednesday morning, weather permitting.
	It is anticipated that total project construction will be
completed in the winter of 2005. East Broadway will remain open to
traffic throughout the reconstruction, however,  temporary delays in
traffic flow as construction progresses should be expected. Care should
be exercised in the construction area and alternate routes should be
used.
