Temporary closure of alley between Eighth Street and Ninth Street 
									
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The city of Columbia Public Works Department
announced today that beginning Monday, Dec. 12, at 7 a.m., Drummond
Mechanical, the contractor working for First National Bank, will begin
construction of a sewer line tap at 13 N. Ninth Street. This work will
result in the temporary closure of the alley between Eighth Street and
Ninth Street, just north of Broadway. 
	The work should be completed and the street should be reopened,
weather permitting, by Friday, Dec. 16, at 7 p.m. Motorists and
pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the
construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
