Columbia Transit's Downtown Orbiter button promotion
								
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - Columbia Transit's Downtown Orbiter route
connects Columbia's major downtown institutions: Boone Hospital
Center, the UMC campus, Truman Memorial Veterans and University
Hospitals, downtown Columbia - including Wabash Station - and Columbia
College. Now, for a limited time, passengers can use their connections
to ride for no charge on the Downtown Orbiter once a month.  
	In January, riders can ask for their "I've Made
Connections!" button when they ride the Orbiter. Beginning in
February, riders who wear their buttons can ride the Downtown Orbiter
for no charge on the third Thursday of the month. The first "button"
ride will be Thursday, Feb. 17. The promotion runs February through
June. 
	Riders looking for ideas about how to use the Orbiter can read
accounts from Orbiter passengers online at
www.GoColumbiaMo.com/PublicWorks/Transportation. Each month the site
will highlight another "Orbiter of the Month".
