Flat Branch Park Outdoor Cinema Series includes great entertainment

COLUMBIA, MO (July 12, 2005) -- Watch a movie under the stars at Flat
Branch Park this summer! The Flat Branch Outdoor Cinema Series is
featuring outdoor movies on a giant inflatable screen through the end of
August. 

Here is a list of movies. Rain dates are the following nights after the
scheduled movie dates: 

50 First Dates, PG-13: Wednesday, July 13, 8:45 p.m. A man falls in
love with a woman with short-term memory loss. Therefore, she never
remembers him and this proves to be a pain for him as he has to gain her
back every day.

E.T., PG: Saturday, July 30, 8:45 p.m. A group of children help a
stranded alien botanist return home.

The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, PG: Saturday, Aug. 13, 8:30 p.m.
SpongeBob takes leave from the town of Bikini Bottom in order to track
down King Neptune's stolen crown.

Spaceballs, PG: Wednesday, Aug. 24, 8 p.m. 

The cost is $3 per person and children 6 and under are free.
Movie-watchers should bring a blanket or low lawn chair. Pre-show
entertainment will vary with each movie. 

The Cinema Series is sponsored by Flat Branch Pub and Brewing and
presented by Columbia Parks and Recreation, the Columbia Daily Tribune,
Convention & Visitors Bureau and Ragtag Cinema.

Flat Branch Park is located at the corner of Fourth and Cherry streets.
