FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 

Steve Ebert Memorial Fund established 

COLUMBIA, MO (June 11, 2005) -- A memorial fund has been established
for Columbia Lineworker Steve Ebert who was fatally injured repairing
damaged electric lines in Independence, Mo., on Friday. Ebert, age 33,
and his wife Vicki have three children, 7-year-old Kevin, 5-year-old
Erik and 1-year-old Ashlyn. The fund was established at Boone County
National Bank by Nancy Jones, who works with Vicki Ebert at University
Hospital, to help the young family.

Those wishing to donate to the Steve Ebert Memorial Fund can do so by
going to any of the Boone County National Bank branches or mailing the
checks to the Steve Ebert Memorial Fund, in care of Columbia Water and
Light, P.O. Box 6015, Columbia, Mo., 65205. Checks should be made out to
the Steve Ebert Memorial Fund. Questions about donating to the fund can
be handled by calling Boone County National Bank or Columbia Water and
Light at (573) 874-7325.
