Register now for Active Kids Club

COLUMBIA, MO (May 3, 2005) -- Registration is going on now for the
Columbia Parks and Recreation Department's Active Kids Club, a
half-day summer camp for children entering third, fourth or fifth grades
in the fall. 

Children will be able to participate in organized sport activities such
as soccer, basketball, hockey, kickball, swimming and flag football. The
Active Kids Club will meet from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Mondays through
Thursdays at these sites:

June 6-9 Shepard Park
June 13-16 Oakland Park
June 20-23 Fairview Park
June 27-30 Cosmo-Bethel Park
July 11-14 Oakland Park
July 18-21 Fairview Park
Aug. 8-11 Cosmo-Bethel Park

The cost is $25 per child for one week. Children may bring a snack and
drink. To register or for more information, please call 874-7460.
