Street maintenance operations
								
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The city of Columbia Public Works Department
announced today that beginning Thursday, Oct. 6, at 7 a.m., APAC Inc.,
the contractor who was awarded the annual contract, will begin
cold-milling and asphalt overlay of various city streets. This work will
result in traffic delays and a street closure. 
	Traffic will be monitored and maintained by flag men. The work
should be completed, weather permitting, and the streets should be fully
reopened by Friday, Oct. 14, at 5 p.m. Motorists and pedestrians are
urged to exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and use
an alternate route whenever possible.

10/6 - Broadway from West Boulevard to Clinkscales Road (ROADWAY
CLOSURE)
10/7 - Broadway from William Street to College Avenue
10/10 - Range Line Street from Business Loop 70 to Rogers Street  
10/10 - Clinkscales Road from I-70 Drive Southwest to Worley Street
10/11 - Ash Street from Aldeah Avenue to Heather Lane
10/11 - Worley Street from Stadium Boulevard to Basin Drive    
10/12 - Forum Boulevard from Stadium Boulevard to Chapel Hill Road
