Temporary closure of Brighton Street
							
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The city of Columbia Public Works Department
announced today that beginning Wednesday, April 12, at 7 a.m., Roto
Rooter, the contractor working for Kay Allen, will begin a sewer lateral
repair at 1508 Brighton St. This work will result in the temporary
closure of Brighton Street between William Street and Ripley Street. The
street will be open to local traffic only. 
	The work should be completed and the street should be reopened,
weather permitting, by Thursday, April 13, at 5 p.m. Motorists and
pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the
construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
