Cherry Street lane closure              
							
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The Public Works Department announced today
that beginning Thursday, Feb. 2, at 8:30 a.m., Hendren's Excavating,
the contractor working for Bank of America, will begin repairs on a
water line at 800 E. Cherry Street. This work will result in the
temporary closure of the eastbound lane of Cherry Street immediately
east of Eighth Street. Two-way traffic shall be maintained by flag men.

	The work should be completed and the street fully reopened,
weather permitting, Friday, Feb. 3, at 4:30 p.m. Motorists and
pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the
construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
