Lane restrictions on Elm Street
(COLUMBIA, MO) - The Public Works Department announced today
that beginning Monday, July 17, at 7 a.m., PCE Inc., the contractor
working for the United Methodist Church, will begin construction of
concrete sidewalks along the north side of Elm Street. This work will
result in temporary lane restrictions on Elm Street between Ninth Street
and Tenth Street. Two-way traffic shall be maintained.
The work should be completed and the street fully reopened,
weather permitting, Friday, July 21, at 7 p.m. Motorists and pedestrians
are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and
use an alternate route whenever possible.
