Bike, Walk & Wheel Week is a huge success
									
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The numbers are in - the 2006 Bike, Walk &
Wheel Week (BWWW) was a huge success! 2,452 people participated in this
year's events, which is a 41 percent increase over last year. This
number includes an estimated total of 1,100 children who participated in
the 14 walk-to-school events organized by various schools to celebrate
BWWW. Additionally, all individual events throughout the week showed
increased numbers of participants.  
	The planning committee would like to thank all participants,
volunteers and sponsors for continuing to help make Columbia a more
walkable, bikeable and wheelchair-friendly city.
