City offices closed on Independence Day

	(COLUMBIA, MO) - City offices will be closed Tuesday, July 4, in
observance of Independence Day.
	Residential refuse, recycling and yard waste collections for
Monday, July 3, will be on regular schedule. However, collections
normally scheduled for Tuesday through Friday will be delayed one day
for the remainder of the week (Wednesday through Saturday). Questions
concerning holiday refuse collection should be directed to the Solid
Waste Division at 874-6291.	
	City buses will not operate, the sanitary landfill will be
closed and parking meter regulations will not be enforced.
	Though administrative offices for the Police Department and Fire
Department will be closed on Independence Day, all other emergency
services will be available.
