Douglass Baseball registration

COLUMBIA, MO (March 7, 2006) -- The Columbia Parks and Recreation
Department and Douglass Athletic Association are accepting registrations
for Douglass Baseball. The Douglass Baseball program is designed to
teach kids ages 5-13 basic baseball skills. Kids between the ages of
11-13 will play in a co-rec softball league. Having fun and learning to
play baseball are the program's main goals. 

Games will be played on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
evenings with some possible Friday evening games at Douglass Park
(Providence and Rogers Streets). Registration is $15 per child.
Registrations postmarked after April 15 will be charged $20 per child.
Registration forms can be picked up at the Columbia Parks and Recreation
office at One South Seventh Street, the Armory Sports Center at 701 East
Ash and the ARC at 1701 West Ash or online at
