Public hearing regarding outdoor warning sirens replacement, relocation
schedule to be held April 3

(COLUMBIA, MO) - The public will have the opportunity to offer
input regarding the outdoor warning sirens replacement and relocation
schedule at a hearing Monday, April 3, at 7 p.m. in the City Council
Chambers of the Daniel Boone Building, 701 E. Broadway.
The replacement list and location maps showing the current
coverage, replacement and relocation recommendations may be viewed at
the City Clerk's Office in the Daniel Boone Building, 701 East
Broadway, or on the City's Web site at www.GoColumbiaMo.com.
This project was approved by voters in last November's public
safety ballot issue; while most sirens will be replaced with new units,
some may be reposititioned in order to eliminate duplication and broaden
the coverage area.
Input can also be provided by sending an email to
cityclerk at GoColumbiaMo.com or by calling the City Manager's Direct
Line at (573) 874-7788.
