Water line replacement restricts traffic on Cook Avenue and Sexton
Road
(COLUMBIA, MO) - Columbia Water and Light will replace a water
main line on Cook Avenue from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., March 27-29, weather
permitting. Traffic on Cook Avenue will be restricted during this
project. Integrating the new water line will require a connection to the
Sexton Road water line. This will cause one lane of Sexton to be closed.
Motorists are urged to use caution while driving in this area or
use alternate routes. The new water main on Cook Avenue is part of the
utility's ongoing upgrade efforts of the water distribution system.
Water service should not be disrupted.
