5th annual
CYCLE-RECYCLE									
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - As part of the Mayor's Challenge: Bike, Walk
& Wheel Week, the PedNet Coalition is partnering with The Columbia/Boone
County Health Department (CBCHD) for the 5th Annual CYCLE-RECYCLE. This
event will be held at the Health Department, 1005 West Worley, on
Sunday, May 7, beginning at 1 p.m.
	Since 2002, more than 500 second-hand bicycles have been
donated, fixed up and given to members of the Columbia community during
this event. Staff from Cyclextreme, Walt's Bike Shop and Tryathletics
will be on hand to help with small adjustments to the bicycles.

Schedule for the day:
*	1:00 p.m. - Registration opens
*	2:00 p.m. - Comments from Mayor Hindman and bicycle giveaway
begins; free bike helmets will be given away with each bike
*	2:30 p.m.- Group bike ride - All children under the age of 18
must be accompanied by an adult and bike helmets will be required.

	Other partners in Cycle-Recycle include: The Intersection,
Lindsey Rentals, SAFEKIDS Coalition, Missouri Department of Corrections,
Columbia Police Department
