Temporary closure of Elm Street
				
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The Public Works Department announced today
that beginning Monday, May 8, at 7 a.m.; PCE Inc., the contractor
working for the United Methodist Church, will begin a crane lift
operation at the Church Activity Center adjacent to Elm Street. This
work will result in the temporary closure of Elm Street between Ninth
Street and Tenth Street. 
	The work should be completed and the street fully reopened,
weather permitting, Tuesday, May 9, at 6 p.m. Motorists and pedestrians
are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and
use an alternate route whenever possible.
