Ninth Street lane
closure
(COLUMBIA, MO) - The Public Works Department announced today
that beginning Wednesday, May 10, at 7 a.m., PCE Inc., the contractor
working for United Methodist Church, will begin a crane lift operation
at the church activity center adjacent to Ninth Street. This work will
result in the temporary closure of the northbound lane of Ninth Street
between Elm Street and Locust Street. Two-way traffic shall be
maintained by flag men.
The street shall be fully reopened that day, weather permitting,
at 7 p.m. Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme
caution when in the construction area and use an alternate route
whenever possible.
