Celebrate women's health and wellness Monday, May 15	
								
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The Family Health Center and the Columbia/Boone
County Health Department are hosting a health and wellness fair for
women in celebration of National Women's Health Week on Monday, May
15. Activities will include more than 20 health and wellness exhibits,
door prizes and food demonstrations. Free screenings available will
include: blood pressure, body mass index, bone density, glaucoma and
skin. Attendees can also participate in a fitness education session with
Miss Mid Missouri.

	Health and Wellness Fair for Women
	Monday, May 15, 12:30-4:30 p.m.
	Columbia/Boone County Health Department, 1005 W. Worley 

This local effort calls attention to the importance of women's health
and is marked by more than 1,000 events across the country. National
Women's Check-Up Day is Monday, May 15. Getting a regular check-up is
one of five preventive steps that the Office on Women's Health
encourages women to take. The other four include: eating well, being
physically active, not smoking and following basic safety
rules.
