Temporary closure of Grand Avenue 
								
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The city of Columbia Public Works Department
announced today that beginning Monday, May 22, at 7 a.m., Darren Woods
Excavating, the contractor working for Coil Construction, will begin
construction of a sewer main extension in Grand Avenue just north of
Business Loop 70. This work will result in the temporary closure of
Grand Avenue between Business Loop 70 and Colorado Avenue. 	
            The work should be completed and the street should be
reopened, weather permitting, Friday, May 26, at 7 p.m. Motorists and
pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the
construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
