Low Impact Development (LID) on the Ground: Economics and
Logistics
(COLUMBIA, MO) - The city of Columbia is co-sponsoring a seminar
to discuss the opportunities and challenges of Low Impact
Development (LID). LID is becoming more popular as stormwater run-off
becomes a greater concern in growing cities. The city of Columbia is
currently proposing a stormwater manual that references many LID
technologies. Three developers from the Midwest will relate their
experiences in LID projects. An interactive panel discussion will
follow.

Speaker: Jim Holtzman, principal and founder of Miracle
Design/Build in St. Louis

professionals, economic development staff, builders, stormwater
management staff, real estate bankers, municipal officials and others
