City Hall elevator routine maintenance scheduled

COLUMBIA, MO (September 18, 2006) -- The city announced that the
passenger elevator at City Hall, 701 E. Broadway, will be out of service
for a brief period on Wednesday, Sept. 20, for routine maintenance. It
is anticipated that the maintenance work will be performed from 9 a.m.
to 1 p.m., however, it might be before or after.

Citizens who visit City Hall and require an elevator during the
maintenance period can contact Public Works Administration at 874-7250
to arrange to be transported in the freight elevator.

The city apologizes for any inconveniences caused by this maintenance
work.
