Teen bands to put on Garage Band Bash

COLUMBIA, MO (August 9, 2007) - Columbia Parks and Recreation, Public
Works and the Youth Community Coalition are teaming up to throw the
annual “Back to School” Garage Band Bash from 7 to 10 p.m. on
Friday, Aug. 17.

The bash will be held on top of the parking garage at 6th and Cherry
streets. There
is an entry fee of $2.

Different area teen bands will be jamming throughout the evening
including
Thunderclap Douglas and the 8-track Groove, The Blumes, Headlights to
Sunset and
Graffiti Out Loud. Don’t miss out on this awesome night!
