Public hearing for Trunk Sewer Project

(COLUMBIA, MO) - The Public Works Department announces a public hearing
for construction of the H-13A Trunk Sewer - Southeast Gateway Sewer
Extension. The public hearing will be held Monday, Aug. 20, during the
regularly scheduled City Council meeting, which begins at 7 p.m. in the
Council Chambers, fourth floor of the Daniel Boone Building, 701 E.
Broadway. 

The proposed project will involve providing additional sewer capacity
for the area of the MU Campus bounded by College Avenue, Stadium
Boulevard, Monk Drive, Hitt Street and Hospital Drive. This area is
currently running at full capacity and does not have sufficient capacity
for any additional development. If approved, this project will be
partially funded by the University of Missouri and the city.
