City publishes New Year’s holiday schedule
								
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - City offices will be closed Tuesday, Jan. 1, in
observance of the New Year’s holiday. Residential refuse, recycling
and yard waste collections for Monday, Dec. 31, will be on regular
schedule. However, collections normally scheduled for Tuesday through
Friday will be delayed one day for the remainder of the week. Questions
concerning holiday refuse collection should be directed to the Solid
Waste Division at 874-6291. 
	City buses will not operate, the sanitary landfill will be
closed and parking meter regulations will not be enforced Jan. 1. Though
administrative offices for both the police and fire departments will be
closed Jan. 1, all other emergency services will be available.
