One lane of Broadway closed for water line replacement
							
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - Columbia Water and Light will begin replacing a
water main line in the outer westbound lane of East Broadway between 2nd
Street and Garth Avenue on Monday, July 23. The work will require
traffic to be reduced to one westbound lane during the month it takes to
complete this project. The existing four-inch water main will be
replaced with an eight-inch line to increase water pressure, which is
beneficial for fire fighting purposes. 
	Customers will be individually notified of any temporary
disruptions in their water service while the work is being done.
Motorists are urged to exercise caution in this area or use an alternate
route when possible.
