Senior Programs - Older American Klub and 50+ Program
OAK Tours
New England Fall Foliage trip with OAK Tours, Sept. 22 - Oct. 3

Friday, Aug. 3 - Potluck and Bingo 11:30 a.m. Bring dish. Meat and

Friday, Aug. 10 Jamm and Dance 7-10 p.m. OAK Fee: Free

Friday, Aug. 17 Summer Dance 7-10 p.m. with music by Laverne Jones.
Fee: $3

Monday, Aug. 20 Watermelon and Big Bingo 6 p.m. Call for reservation,

Wednesday, Aug. 22 Afternoon Tea Dance 1-3 p.m. OAK Fee: Free

Friday, Aug. 24 Pool Tournament 10 a.m. trophies for 1st and 2nd place
winners. $1

Friday, Aug. 31 Fifth Friday Free Dance 7-10 p.m. OAK Jammers perform.
Snacks welcome. Fee: Free

BikePro - kids 10 - 14 yrs.
Wednesdays, Aug 8-29, Riechmann Pavilion, 6-8 p.m., Fee: $10
BikePro is designed to teach children ages 10-14 the knowledge and
skills necessary for safe bicycle operation in a variety of settings.
Children must be proficient at riding their bikes and must bring a
bicycle and helmet to each class. 

NEW Summer Mix n Mingle
Friday, Aug. 10- Mix n Mingle 
Must register by Wednesday before event.
Aug. 10, 8-11 p.m. Ages: Adults only
Location: Riechmann Indoor Pavilion, 2300 E. Walnut in Stephens Lake
Park
Fee: $5

Confident City Cycling 
Saturdays, Aug. 11- 25 
Cyclists will gain the confidence they need to ride safely and legally
in traffic or on the trail. In coordination with The PedNet Coalition
and The PedNet Project.
Rock Quarry House & Park
9 a.m. -12 p.m.
Fee: $20
Ages: 14- adult

Garage Band Bash
Friday, Aug. 17
Columbia Parks and Recreation, Public Works and the Youth Community
Coalition is going to throw a “Back to School” Band Bash on top of
the Parking Garage off of 6th & Cherry. Different area teen bands will
be jamming throughout the evening with rockin’ tunes.
7-10 p.m.
Location: Top of Parking Garage, 6th & Cherry streets 
Fee: $2

Sugar, Spice and Everything Nice 
Thursday, Aug. 30 
Join us as we make jewelry and a crown. We will become a
princess/prince for the day. We’ll enjoy a snack as sweet as you!
Preregistration required.

Ages: 3 - 6 yrs.

Summer Dance Camp, ages 6-10 yrs.

Mon-Fri, Aug 6-10, 9-10am at the ARC, $39.

Theater Mini Camps
Ages 3-5 yrs.: Monday-Friday, Aug. 13-17, 9-10 a.m., $35
Ages 5-7 yrs.: Monday-Friday, Aug. 6-10, 1-3 p.m., $42
