Chip sealing work on streets
									
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The city of Columbia Public Works Department
announces that beginning Monday, July 30, at 7 a.m. through Friday, Aug.
3, at 3:30 p.m. the Street Division will begin chip seal maintenance on
the following streets:
	- Parker Street from Holly Avenue to Vandiver Drive
	- Holly Avenue from Oakland Gravel Road to Parker Street
	- Penn Terrace from Creekwood Park to Golden Bear Drive
	- Penn Terrace from east end to Creekwood Park	
	This work will result in temporary lane restrictions on the
streets listed above.
The work should be completed and the street fully reopened each day,
weather permitting. Parking on the street will be restricted during this
period.
Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in
the construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
