Repairs to St. Charles Road bridge over Hominy Branch
(COLUMBIA, MO) - The Public Works Department announces the
beginning of the repairs to the St. Charles Road bridge over Hominy
Branch. Construction for this project is scheduled to begin on April 2,
weather permitting. St. Charles Road will be reduced to one-lane traffic
at the bridge during working hours. Flag men will be on site during
construction to guide through traffic. The work is expected to be
completed within two weeks.
Columbia Curb & Gutter Company of Columbia, Mo., was the
successful bidder on the project in the amount of $21,900. This project
consists of the removal and replacement of a section of corral rail on
the bridge, which was damaged by a motor vehicle.
Care should be exercised in the construction area and alternate
routes should be used.
