Parks and Recreation plans Easter activities

COLUMBIA, MO (March 29, 2007) -- Columbia Parks and Recreation is
planning a number of activities for kids to celebrate Easter. For more
information about the below events, please call 874-7460 or log onto
www.GoColumbiaMo.com. 

Breakfast with Peter Cottontail
Saturday, April 7
9:30-10:30 a.m.
ARC Meeting Rooms 
Come have some doughnuts and fruit, play games and get your picture
taken with the bunny of the season ... Peter Cottontail! This activity
is for children 10 years and under. Preregistration is required. Bring
your own camera or purchase a Polaroid with the Peter Cottontail for
$1.50. Call 874-7460 to register. 
Fee: $3.50 per person

Easter Egg Hunt
Wednesday, April 4
10 a.m.
Paquin Tower, 1201 Paquin St
Area children are invited to come and see the Easter Bunny and hunt for
Easter eggs. To make a reservation for your group, please call
874-7473.

Easter Egg Hunt EGGstravaganza
Saturday, April 7 
11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Douglass Park - Corner of Providence and Rogers
Bring your children out for a fun candy-filled egg hunt before Easter.
There will be three separate hunts designated by age. Children will be
able to have their picture taken with the Easter Bunny for $2. Other
activities will include “Easter Twister,” coloring, face painting,
sack races, and toss games.
