Air Midwest codeshare agreement announced

(COLUMBIA, MO) - Air Midwest Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of
Mesa Air Group operating as US Airways Express out of Columbia Regional
Airport, has announced a codeshare agreement with Midwest Airlines. This
agreement enables travelers using Columbia Regional Airport to connect
to Midwest Airlines nationwide route network to or from Kansas City
through Midwest Airlines’ reservation system. The codeshare goes into
effect May 6, 2007. Passengers can book their entire flight on a single
ticket with both the Midwest Airlines and Air Midwest segments carrying
the Midwest Airlines YX designator code and earning Midwest Miles
frequent flyer mileage credit.
“We’re excited to expand our partnership with Air Midwest
and extend service to destinations in Missouri and Nebraska,” said
Scott R. Dickson, Midwest Airlines senior vice president and chief
marketing officer. “This arrangement will provide residents of more
small communities with convenient connections to our award-winning
service.”
Dickson pointed out that Midwest Airlines offers nonstop service
to and from Kansas City to 17 key business and leisure destinations
throughout the United States.
“Midwest Airlines is ‘The best care in the air’ and now
all of our US Airways Express markets in Kansas City will be able to
enjoy this exceptional service while connecting to their nationwide
network,” says Jeffrey Hartz, Essential Air Service program manager
for Mesa Air Group.
Tickets may be purchased through Midwest Airlines at
http://www.midwestairlines.com or by calling 1-800-452-2022.
Schedules, including a downloadable timetable and fares, are also
available on the Web site. Travelers purchasing a ticket within three
