Deadline approaching for Moonlight Hoops

COLUMBIA, MO (May 3, 2007) - The registration deadline is approaching
for the Moonlight Hoops summer basketball league, which is organized by
Columbia Parks and Recreation. The league is held at Douglass Park for
both youth and adults. The season starts June 12 and runs through Aug.
15. Games are played Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 7:30-10:30 p.m. 

The two youth leagues are for ages 13-16 and the adult league is 17
years old and up. Each youth division will be composed of eight teams.
The adult division will be composed of 16 teams. The registration cost
for the youth leagues is $100 per team and for adults is $150 per team.
Deadline to register is May 18. 

Team members listed on the registration form will receive a free
T-shirt as part of the registration fee. Those who register and pay
first will have the first choice of team color. Registration forms are
available at the Parks and Recreation office at One South Seventh, the
Armory Sports Center at 701 East Ash and the ARC at 1701 West Ash or
online at http://www.gocolumbiamo.com/ParksandRec/.
