Vision committee reviewing draft vision report

COLUMBIA, MO (November 14, 2007) - The “Imagine Columbia’s
Future” draft vision report has been received from ACP Consulting
and is being distributed to vision committee members for review. Once
committee members have proofed final components of the draft, they will
meet to ratify the report on Nov. 27 from 4-6 p.m. in the Walton
Building at 300 S. Providence. 

The ratified draft will be forwarded to ACP for final revisions and
formatting. Upon receipt of the final report in December, the committee
will present the plan to the Sponsors Council, which includes the City
of Columbia, Boone County, Stephens College, Columbia College,
University of Missouri and Columbia Public Schools.

Copies of the draft can be viewed at the Columbia Public Library 2nd
Floor Reference Desk at 100 W. Broadway, the City Hall lobby at 701 E.
Broadway or on the city’s Web site at www.GoColumbiaMo.com - click on
the Draft Vision Report link in the announcements section. Electronic
copies are available on CD for 50 cents each. Due to the size of the
report, printed copies will cost $12.50 each. To request CDs or printed
