One lane of Highway 63 restricted on Tuesday

(Columbia, MO) -- The Columbia Terminal Railroad (COLT) will
repair the tracks on Highway 63 on Tuesday, Nov. 20, weather permitting.
The crossing is located in north Columbia between Paris Road and Brown
Station Road. The repairs, expected to take approximately four hours,
will be done during the middle part of the day in order to avoid both
the morning and evening rush periods. Traffic on southbound Highway 63
will be restricted to one lane while the repairs are made.
COLT is a short line railroad owned by the city of Columbia and
operated by Columbia Water & Light. It provides railroad freight service
to Columbia and the mid-Missouri area.
