Mothers and daughters invited to communication and education workshop

COLUMBIA, MO (October 9, 2007) - The Columbia/Boone County Health
Department, in conjunction with Planned Parenthood of Kansas and
Mid-Missouri (PPKM), is offering a workshop for families designed to
improve communication and education about issues such as puberty, body
image and dating. 

The workshop will be held for daughters in 6th-8th grades, and their
mothers. The workshop will be located at the City of Columbia/Boone
County Health Department from 12-4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13. Interested
families are encouraged to register beforehand by calling Maureen Coy at
(573) 874-7559.
