Human Rights Commission and Cherry Street Artisan sponsor 'Teen Speak!
Be a Champion of Justice'

COLUMBIA, MO (October 30, 2007) - The Columbia Human Rights Commission,
in collaboration with Cherry Street Artisan, will sponsor “Teen
Speak!” Thursday, Nov. 1, 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. It will be hosted at the
Cherry Street Artisan, 111 S. 9th St.

This celebration is an open opportunity for teens to share experiences,
feelings, ideas, struggles, hopes and dreams through their artistic
expressions of poetry, rap, spoken word, song and music. 

The theme for the evening is “Be a champion of Justice.” 
What is justice for you? 
How do you champion justice? 
What problems of justice do you face? 
What is your passion?
