Public hearing for Clear Creek Pump Station Improvement Project

(COLUMBIA, MO) - The Public Works Department announces a public hearing
concerning the proposed Clear Creek Pump Station Sanitary Sewer
Improvement Project to be held Monday, April 7, during the regularly
scheduled City Council meeting, which begins at 7 p.m. in the Council
Chambers, fourth floor of the Daniel Boone Building, 701 E. Broadway. 

The project will consist of constructing approximately 14,000 linear
feet of sanitary sewer force main, 800 feet of gravity sewer and a new
Clear Creek pump station. Construction is planned for 2009. The project
cost is estimated to be about $4 million, which will be paid from the
Missouri Department of Natural Resources state revolving loan fund
program and sanitary sewer utility funds.
