Interested-party meeting for GetAbout Columbia
projects		
						
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The Public Works Department announces an
informal public meeting concerning sidewalk elements of the GetAbout
Columbia project. The meeting will be held Thursday, May 1, 5:30-7 p.m.
at Russell Boulevard Elementary School, 1800 W. Rollins Road, in the
media center.
	The purpose of this meeting is to discuss proposed sidewalks
on:
●	Manor Drive (Rollins Road to Broadway)
●	Fairview Road (east side, Highland to Broadway)
●	West Boulevard (west side, Westwinds to Stewart Road)
	Information, maps and diagrams for these projects will be
available for public review at the meeting. City staff and consultants
from URS Corporation will be present to answer questions and receive
comments. These sidewalk improvements are part of the overall $22
million non-motorized pilot program being funded by the Federal Highway
Administration.
