COLT repairs on Business Loop to restrict traffic
(Columbia, MO) -- On Wednesday, Sept. 3, weather permitting, the
Columbia Terminal Railroad (COLT) will make repairs to the railroad
crossing on Business Loop 70 East, near the power plant. Traffic will be
restricted to one lane in each direction from approximately 4 a.m. to 7
a.m. Although the work should be completed before early morning traffic
begins, motorists are encouraged to drive with caution.
The COLT is a short line railroad owned and operated by Columbia
Water & Light. It provides railroad freight service to Columbia and
mid-Missouri.
