Columbia Transit running on emergency weather schedule today

(COLUMBIA, MO) - The city of Columbia Public Works Department
announces that Columbia Transit will run on the emergency snow schedule
today due to inclement weather. Columbia Transit switched to the
emergency weather schedule this morning when it was determined to be
unsafe due to an accumulation of sleet. Routes will run on one-hour
increments, rather than every 40 minutes, and plans are to stay on the
emergency schedule throughout the day based on the predicted weather.
Citizens may call Columbia Transit at (573) 874-7282 for questions
concerning the schedule change. Columbia Transit will switch back to the
regular schedule when the streets are clear and passable and traffic
returns to normal.
